Spring-like melt-freeze conditions are giving us the unique opportunity to look at some of our bigger lines on Sunday, including Mt Garibaldi. The plan is to fly into Brohm Ridge, climb and ski Mt Garibaldi while the weather is cool, and traverse out via Elfin Lakes. The back up option is to simply ski Garibaldi and fly back out. This is a mega classic ski day and will be one you won’t forget! BYO climbing/ski mountaineering harness, locking carabiner, ice axe, ski crampons and stoke! Boot Crampons may be required but that will be decided closer to the day. Participants must be able to ski black diamond runs comfortably, and be relatively fit. No prior experience ski mountaineering is required, this is a great entry level peak. Let me know if you are missing some of the required gear and we can work it out.
Heli Drop is $250p/p one way, or $500 return if we decide to not ski out Elfin Lake.
If the overnight Sunday/Monday falls through I'd be down for this instead.
Sounds like a great opportunity to use up some credit!!
