Hi!
It was great to ski around with good visibility and sun in our faces the last couple of days. It was almost like a little sign of spring, except for the cold temps... It has been a while now since last snowfall and that is noticeble in the backcountry. Nevetheless we skied some good runs with good snowstability,
Luckily the new snow is not far away. It looks that for the coast and up to whistler it´s gonna be unsettled weather from wednesday and onwards bringing, on what it looks like righ now quite a lot of new snow! (possible around 40 cm in blackcomb on friday...) Freezing levels will be around 1200 meters so that gives should ad up also below treeline. Right now it looks a bit drier for the duffy area so that we have to track along the way, hopefully it can get a little refill too.
For this week Daniel Robb (weekdays) and Bram Whillock will (weekend) be in charge. Due to the weather, plans will most likely made quite last minute to make the most out of it. But one thing is sure, the powderhunt is on!
Hope to see you out there! //Isaac
