Hey Aurora Folks , We have a spearhead traverse available April 5th to April 7th! Spring is here so let’s enjoy this whistler classic ! It’s a right of passage for any backcountry enthusiast. Time to make the most of what’s left of winter!

15-20cm on top of the crust created by last weeks rain event. Things are transitioning to spring in the valley but winter lives on in the alpine! We are settling into a nice spring time weather pattern and snowpack. Powder skiing will remain on the polar aspects with decent 1500m freezing levels. Travel is fast. Lots of sign ups mid week that need one or more peeps to make a day run! Sign up and let’s go!

Wednesday night is when the temperature drops and snow should return. The question is how sudden is the transition and how much snow comes (up to 15cm). Then, an additional 25cm with cool temps throughout Thursday/Friday and Saturday. Sunday should be a full reset with blue skies! Friday I’ll be heading to the musical bumps!
